Homemade Frozen Banana Ice Cream

Whether it's chocolate, fruit, or cookies, a lot of people need to finish off their meal with something sweet. In the hot summertime, a cold dessert is the most appealing choice. Instead of reaching for ice cream or trying to save calories and opt for fro-yo, make homemade frozen yogurt instead! Just freeze a banana (without the peel), cut it into four pieces, and blend it in the food processor for a couple minutes. You can add whatever you want to make your favorite kind of ice cream- fruit, peanut butter, cacao powder. It's healthier than any fro- yo you could buy at the store, and much better!

OMG! Pomegranate Salsa

Even though pomegranate and salsa seem like two totally different flavors, this is really a perfect recipe for summer. Imagine having a family BBQ outside, snacking on some pomegranate salsa while the burgers fry. We tried it first with blue corn chips, but it can also be eaten as a light salad.

Ingredients
1/2 cup fresh mint, chopped
                        2 green onions, chopped
1 cup pomegranate seeds
½ lemon
1 tablespoon honey
1 tomato, diced
                        salt and pepper to taste
                        2-4 tablespoons OMG! Pomegranate Powder
                       2 avocados, diced

Directions
1. In a medium bowl, combine mint, green onions, pomegranate seeds, tomato and avocados.
2. Squeeze lemon and honey over mixture.
3. Add OMG! Pomegranate Vitamin Powder, and salt and pepper to taste. Stir.
4. Cover, and chill in the refrigerator for thirty minutes before serving.
